Life Coaching - Is It For You
Life Coaching The definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. If nothing changes, nothing changes.
Are you desiring permanent change, in your personal life, your career and don’t know quite how to get there? Do you know 'something' has to give but not quite sure what? Do you have a dream that you would like to admit and explore possibilities. Do you want to live a life of purpose, yet feel pulled in a thousand different directions, not of your choosing? Have you lost a sense of yourself? Do you sense that your life is just a bit out of focus and could use some clarity? Then coaching might be for you.
Do you have courage? Are you willing to go into the deep exploration of discovery? Do you desire truth? Are you willing to be challenged? Do you want to know you are living your best integrity and authentic self?
In coaching we discover the beginning point-you are here. The client designs the future and desired goals and outcomes. Uncovering and igniting vision has the power to bring passion and purpose in to living.
In coaching we will explore long standing attitudes, paradigms and underlying beliefs especially in the places that keep us from forward movement. Coaching is a time to peel back the layers. It is the time for courage and determination and willingness. It is a time to uncover the authentic you, the you that shines, the you that brings your uniqueness as a gift to yourself and others.
Life Coaching What is the clients part in coaching? A willingness to explore, change, learn, take risks. A commitment to continue and persevere even when it is difficult. A commitment to invest time and energy in to your greatest commodity-your own life. A willingness to go beyond comfort zones and live in the unknown and in the question.
What is the coaches part? To be clear about commitment-to be willing to dig deeply and with courage-to hold sacred space-to challenge-incite-motivate and believe that the client is naturally creative, resourceful and whole.
Socrates said, "An unexamined life is not worth living." Are you ready for self examination?
Has any of what you have just read caused a stirring within you, a longing? Then perhaps coaching is for you and you are ready and the time is right.
